Expedition
During their time on Heritage, Cat had told them about a legend about the Mythic Woods on Hulpawa Island where they were travelling to. The legend says that if you travel into the Mythic Woods for three days without harming anything, you'll reach a tower where you can find great riches. The group (Nyx, Iris and Seraph outvoting Yeissal) had decided to see if the legend was true.
In the morning of the 24th they did some shopping in Mythmore before heading out on their adventure. They tried to be careful and inconspicuous as Cat had also told them that she'd once almost been kidnapped in Mythmore by mysterious people with hidden features. Captain Kayla Hackett had saved her and told her about the rumoured "Collectors" who collected rare things, including rare humanoids. Their shopping was not interrupted by any kidnapping attempts and they headed out into the woods. Day one was uneventful. At the end of the day they came across a clearing where the snow had been swept away in a perfect spot for two tents and benches surrounded an already burning campfire. On one of the benches words were carved: "One day down but more still ahead, let me be your guard while you're abed." Nyx argued that they should trust the words and not take watches. The others eventually agreed, some more reluctant than others. The night passed uneventfully. Day two went well. During the second half of travel, Yeissal spotted something tiny in the trees. It was a reptilian form with butterfly-like wings. A faerie dragon! They managed to get the faerie dragon to come speak to them and the dragon told them that they could call them Flower, though they were called many things. This faerie dragon doesn't give their true name to anyone unless they absolutely trust them. The group learnt from Flower that the message on the bench was from the Guardians of Mythic Woods and that they were nice as long as you were nice to the woods. Flower also let them know that in the tower they shouldn't take the easy path. At the end of day two they reached another clearing already set up for a camp with a warm campfire waiting. On day three they saw a large rabbit with a horn on its forehead like a unicorn, a beast called Almiraj. They tried to interact with it but it was startled and hopped away. Later that same day they saw a Pegasus that acknowledged their existence but soon wandered off. At the end of that day they reached a larger clearing with a perfectly circular lake in the middle. On the side they entered was another campsite and across the lake a beautiful tower. On the right side of the lake stood a very big tree with many jars filled with knickknacks and small lights handing from its branches. The group made use of the campsite for the night and decided to head into the tower in the morning.
