Remnants are human-like and capable of storing and lightly using magic, but life for a Remnant can be quite different depending on the magical needs of the Owner who runs their community.
Underhaven Remnants
Under Owner of Underhaven's careful guidance, life for an Underhaven Remnant has none of the strife of Remnants on the surface of the planet. They live as pampered and mostly carefree beings, addicted to pleasure and amused by the smallest of things.
Zerrael Ingriid
Katanoj preteen from an island town on a planet in the Freeholds. Black fur with silver, patterned whorls of fur scattered across it like stars. Obsessed with tall tales of the Mordena, the more ridiculous the better.
Pluton
The planet of Pluton is run by supervillains and home to superpowered humans, lavish corporate platforms, and hi-tech advancements. Life is fairly typical: unless you have superpowers...or live in The Golden Regions of Xubriox.

Hey y'all! I'm Dani, a creativity and goal coach, editor, and author of spicy cyberpunk, sci-fi, superhero, and shifter romance, as well as slice-of-dystopian-life fiction.

There's also a character creation workshop on Gumroad, and I'm working on moooaaar! *insert kermit-keyboard-flail* I've done NaNoWriMo since 2006 (as a Municipal Liaison for 7 years). I was a part-time freelance editor, a technical writer and Q&A manager for software for over 15 years...but due to health issues now I work from home helping writers get past overwhelm to get books written, teaching writing workshops, providing one-on-one coaching for creativity, managing project plans, editing, and formatting ebooks.
My favorite writing process is world-building, followed only by getting to know a new character's voice. Both involve me talking to myself, my husbando waking up with sticky notes on his forehead (hey, it was once! no need to keep me banned from writing in bed!), and my kidlet staring at me like my brain's exploded out of my head and bounced around the room. I just tell her creativity is messy. :D
