Love Swan Lake Geographic Location in A To Zoo | World Anvil

Love Swan Lake

A precious statement of love sits in the middle of the Wetlands Sector 1. The Love Swan Lake is a paradise; rushing waterfalls surrounding an idyllic lake of gentle rippling waves. Pink and purple blossoms ever-drifting through the lush warm breeze.   Bring your loved ones - sit besides the water and watch the swans dance, or take a canoe and venture out into the lake's island.

While the Wetlands Sector 1 is one of the most popular sectors, Love Swan Lake remains a quiet, pristine area to visit. Couple, throuples, friends and families are encouraged to wander around the lake, taking in the gorgeous scenery. There are few species to admire - Love Swan Lake is designed to bring people closer together.

Please keep your clothes on in and around the Love Swan Lake.

Notable Species

Gold-Crested Crow by Mochi

Love Swan Lake is not intended to be an enclosure, but there are a handful of interesting animals to be found here. Keep an eye out for some spotted swans, gold-crested crows and shurtles from Osao, quinanais and mole-beetles from Kolakat, and a shockingly varied number of other creatures.

A number of brightly coloured fish live in the lake itself, such as lovemakers and heart tetras.

The atmosphere is truly gorgeous. I had planned on proposing to my boyfriend here. I found a nice circle of trees in a quiet corner of the lake, and I managed to catch him by surprise. It was beautiful. He said yes and now whenever we come to the zoo, we always have to visit the lake.

Love Swan Language

The most prominant animal in the Love Swan Lake are the love swans themselves. These magnificent birds are the symbol of the lake. Love swans have bright pink feathers, puffing up during courtship rituals.

Interacting with love swans
  • If you're close enough to a love swan, hold out your hands. It will gift you one of its feathers, blessing your relationship.
  • While you are permitted to pet a love swan, avoid petting anywhere other than the head and neck.
  • Feeding love swans is also permitted. They can digest anything and control what they eat themselves.
  • Observing love swans
  • Love swans form life-bonds. A pair grow close over a lifetime, never separating.
  • See if you can spot a love swan courting dance. They dance at least twice a day, involving splashing of water with their wings and twirling their bendy necks together.
  • Love swans are the rulers of the lake. They control the natural order, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem.
  • I brought my friends here for a nice day out. I don't know why or how, but we grew so much closer after visiting the lake. Something about the atmosphere, the smells, sounds and sights, just made us all extremely happy.

    Pheromones

To get people in romantical moods, pipes weave through the underground of the lake and surrounding land. Tiny hidden vents leak out pheromones, however sometimes they work too well. There is a reason why we require all visitors to keep their clothes on in and around the lake.
