Timothy Whiterose

The legendary man known as Father Patriot, lord of a thousand rebellions, toppler of empires, and #4 most wanted being on the continent

Timothy Whiterose (a.k.a. Father Patriot)

WARNING: The Rasmanthus Guild has issued a continent-wide A-Class bounty for the death or capture of Timothy Whiterose, codenamed Father Patriot, and declared him #4 Most Wanted on Zheng-Kitar. Proof of his death or his capture, delivered to the headquarters of the guild in the city-state of Axiom, City of the Great Game, shall net whosoever achieves the deed a sum total of 100,000 Gold Pieces.   Do not approach him lightly: He has out-thought the best minds across the continent a dozen times over, and has been proven to possess quasi-temporal properties. Those who seek to claim his bounty are advised to proceed with EXTREME caution.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

In truth, from what has been observed, Timothy Whiterose is is poor physical health often - he lacks much muscle mass, is wafer-thin, and seems almost constantly malnourished as a result of his vagrant lifestyle. He has not been observed as sickly or ill, but is weak and thin, with weak physical fitness and poor body shape due to his frequent lack of food and water. However, despite this poor physical condition of his, he seems quite capable and adept at surviving in harsh conditions despite it - enduring brutal jungle marches and sleeping in nightmarish conditions with little difficulty.

Body Features

In possession of a wafer-thin and lithe body, Timothy is a half-elf who is frequently described as Malnourished and Anorexic even, though his thin body is often disguised by the bulky layers of clothing he wears. He has little body mass and thus has little personal strength, relying on his mind to see him through his struggles in life.

Facial Features

Reports describe him with dirty blonde hair down to the shoulders and a pure white quartz orb in place of a left eye, as well as an X-shaped scar beneath the nose and above the lips. His face is smooth and elegant like with many with traces of Elven heritage, though it is also somewhat sunken from his malnutrition and poor body condition.

Identifying Characteristics

His most identifying feature is his left eye - the pure white orb of Quartz that seems to have taken the place of a real flesh and blood eye long ago, as well as his X-shaped scar beneath the nose and above his lips. Otherwise, his numerous tattoos do serve as an identifying feature of sorts, though they are often hidden by his numerous layers of thick clothing.

Physical quirks

While less of a quirk and more of a result of his severe lack of constant access to food and water, his body is thin and malnourished - meaning he has poor stamina and, while capable of moving around on his own, often requires the use of a cane to do so effectively unless he has had a particularly successful streak of employment where the rebels, saboteurs, or whosoever is employing him sees fit to feed and water him daily.

Special abilities

In contrast to his apparel and equipment, his special abilities are his most interesting feature - ever since his existence was brought onto the world stage, he has seemed to possess quasi-temporal properties as a man who seems to exist, to some degree, outside of time. He has been observed appearing from summoning circles much like an outsider would be, and has confusingly appeared centuries before the modern day in historical records and in service records of various groups such as The Rasmanthus Guild and the Children of the Crushing Chains, painting the picture of a man who appears irregularly across time either of his own volition, or without his own will to help out various causes.   However, these quasi-temporal properties appear to be at least somewhat consistent, though he may not have control over them - seemingly, they appear to be designed or functioning entirely to allow him to reach various battlefields or take on various jobs from those who require his brilliant services: once he takes on such a job, these properties seldom reactivate until the task is done barring extremely rare circumstances.

Apparel & Accessories

He is often seen in simple but thick, warm layers of clothing - oftentimes, full-body trenchcoats are worn over armored vests, with thick sack cloth trousers worn over lightly armored greaves. In truth, elements of his outfit seem almost custom-designed by some highly experienced manufacturer, as armor plates seem to be sewn into the lining, but no details of who or where could have built such an advanced and low-key outfit fit for a saboteur such as he have come to light.

Specialized Equipment

As he is a physically frail man, the only specialized equipment he carries is his cane to help him get around when he is suffering from particularly nasty bouts of malnutrition and physical weakness.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Little is known of the personal history of Father Patriot aside from the numerous records of the campaigns he has waged(Which are described in "Accomplishments and Achievments below") - his appearance and thick accent suggest a Yatsimoan ancestry or influence somewhere in his life, but otherwise information on him has been infuriatingly scarce. Even his age is a mystery, thanks to his quasi-temporal properties - meaning that those who hunt him eagerly reward those who can deliver information on him that can be proven to be sound and true.

Gender Identity

Unknown.

Sexuality

Education

Suprisingly, the subject of his education is a hotly debated mystery to some - as he faced countless commanders and military leaders on the battlefield throughout his decades and centuries of service to various causes across Zheng-Kitar, Father Patriot has faced all sorts from Captain Jaxton Carter-Pierce of The Five Knights of Fairchilde to even Orstac Orid and other Narix'Ana...and in each case, has displayed strategies, theories, battlefield tactics, and the like which each hearken back potential influence from various military academies, important military leaders, and the like across the continent and throughout history.   This tendency to display countless tactics, military theories, and strategies both new, old, and experimental leads many to hotly debate just how he not only knows of many of the often highly-classified techniques of the various academies and militaries and historical military commands across Zheng-Kitar, but blends them together so seamlessly into a style all his own of complete and utter brilliance which even the smartest minds cannot hope to match.

Employment

Father Patriot has found employment all across Zheng-Kitar - the number of his employers are far, far too numerous to list here, but throughout his many decades and couple centuries of known activity he has worked for governments on espionage operations, rebel cells and insurrectionist groups, slaves in the middle of revolt, and nearly any group who would require the services of a master-class tactician, thinker, strategist, and planner.

Accomplishments & Achievements

His accomplishments are incredibly numerous - throughout the years, he has participated in a number of highly storied and public campaigns across the continent for countless groups. A list of the most notable of these campaigns and who they were done in service of are listed below.

Notable Campaigns and Accomplishments

  • 4000 ASK: While not confirmed, records recently uncovered by The Rasmanthus Guild have shown that a "Commander Whiterose" proved instrumental in bringing about the downfall of Dahmunara Worldthrone during the final days of her rule.
  • 4053 ASK: Aided the then-emperor of the Kingdom of Seoghar in orchestrating the infamous "Night of Blood" that saw the complete destruction and thwarting of what would go on to be the largest attempted coup in Seogharan history.
  • 4188 ASK: Led the largest rebellion in the history of The Narixian Empire, facing off against Narix'Ana the Ultimate and his forces that outnumbered him 100:1 in an event that would go down in Narixian history as "The Humbling".
  • 4200-4250 ASK: Aided in the splintering of the Shaoshu Empire, directing several rebellions against the splintering empire in and around the areas of modern day Astara, Osneia, and Olander.
  • 4263-4265 ASK: Lead a small insurrection against Jilixia Worldthrone during her tenure as ruler of the Ustanan city of Rhocenza.
  • 4291 ASK: Supposedly outsmarted Shou Ozawa and denied the hound his challenge against the target of his wrath at the time.
  • 4340-4346 ASK: Played an active, potentially key role in the vicious rebellion that would topple the Kingdom of Corudillo and let the barbaric tribes of the Guezhan Rainforest found the Kassau Matriarchy.
  • 4401-4412 ASK: At the behest of a single orphan boy, single-handedly orchestrated the near-complete collapse of the Danzou Theocracy and the brutal lynching of the then-High Pontiff by an enraged and armed peasant militia - only sparing the country complete collapse by virtue of the request asked of him: "To let the people get revenge on the High Pontiff".
  • 4439 ASK-4443 ASK: Led a worker attack on The Rasmanthus Guild in a unilateral strike that hit several dozen power-centers of the Guild across Zheng-Kitar, executing a masterstroke firestorm assault that required the personal intervention of Osmantha the Indomitable to prevent the guild from fracturing and tearing itself apart.
  • 4555 ASK: Led a short serf uprising in the Shaoshu Empire, facing off against Captain Jaxton Carter-Pierce of The Five Knights of Fairchilde.
  • 4559-4560 ASK: Led a short but bloody rebellion of male slaves in the Kassau Matriarchy.

Failures & Embarrassments

None. He has never once, reputedly, experienced a true and total defeat on the field of battle - though many have matched him and brought their armies against his with a neutral outcome.

Mental Trauma

For all his near-divine skills, Father Patriot is seemingly a deeply traumatized man - untold years of life as what might well be a prisoner to his own quasi-temporal properties as well as untold campaigns of death and carnage have left him a deeply troubled man, with a deeply chaotic personality that has splintered off into several "personalities" that are used depending on the situation.   In truth, though, whatever deeper traumas he has will likely remain unknown and untreated - his refusal or inability to comply with authorities who seek to help him or bring him in for questioning has meant such traumas are the subject of heresay and speculation.

Intellectual Characteristics

Father Patriot is a brilliant man - cold, calculating, and ruthless when in the commander's chair. His strategies are the stuff of utmost brilliance, and his intellect so vast that those who face him on the field frequently describe him as "reading their minds" and "reacting to their strategies the second they are put into action", as if their entire battle plans are seen through at a glimpse. Even outside of battle, his mental prowess is the stuff of legend - thwarting assassination attempts as if he knew they were coming all along, and effortlessly putting himself into positions where even those who hire him have no choice but to accept his help and offer him shelter.   In truth, he is often described as the worst type of intellectual to stand against - a mastermind to the core, who reads others as if they were open books and reacts to plans, situations, and tactics with such sheer genius that one constantly questions if all things simply go as he has orchestrated them to be from the start. To negotiate with him requires a superb grasp of various intellectual pursuits, and a confidence that one will not be swept up and manipulated by his facade of simplicity, and many, even those who hire him, often find themselves dragged along by him as he throws himself behind their cause to lead them to victory.

Morality & Philosophy

As best as can be determined, Father Patriot's only morality is victory - he will adopt any strategy, no matter how underhanded, in order to secure a win for those who employ him or for his own goals.   As for his philosophies, little is known - though the few snippets of quotes from him hint at a deeply thinking man who might be suprisingly introspective.

Taboos

None. He will stoop to any low, break any law, violate any taboo, and do anything if it furthers his goals.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Despite his status as #4 Most Wanted on The Rasmanthus Guild's Most Wanted List, his motivations are an absolute mystery - it has not even been conclusively determined if he is a willing participant in all of the rebellions, uprisings, espionages, and such that the notorious Father Patriot has been seen leading throughout the years.   Oftentimes, his motivations are conflicting and confusing - one time, he seems to have been summoned by means of some esoteric magical ritual and thus motivated to complete his task, while others his sole motivation seems to be a real belief in the cause he is leading(Be it a rebellion, revolt, blackmail, or otherwise)...while other times still, he seems to be little more than a vagrant who found employment leading some task suited to his bloody skillset for the simple motivation to eat, find shelter, and survive.   This, combined, means that many who take note of him, including The Rasmanthus Guild, have questioned several times whether he is entirely malicious - leading to his status as "Wanted Dead OR Alive" despite his status as #4 Most Wanted.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

A master-class tactician, thinker, strategist, planner, leader, outsite-the-box thinker, guerrilla, ???   Good at dealing with children, scrounging for food, living as a vagrant, seeing through lies, living outside civilization, ???   Terrible at fighting, casting spells, defending himself in any personal fashion, keeping a consistent personality, saving money, being clean, having decorum, being a socialite, ???

Likes & Dislikes

Very Little is known of his personal likes or dislikes, as he has never been conclusively caught or interrogated. As such, the below information is sparse, from what little has been confirmed from the forces that have employed him.   Likes: A successful campaign, A difficult campaign, Being in front of a command table, Facing an Intellectually Equal Commander, sleeping in a hammock, playing the piano, ???   Dislikes: Living in houses or civilization, People staring at his Opal Eye, Being woken up, Pushy People, Bluebloods/Nobles, ???

Virtues & Personality perks

Though his virtues are hard to glean by those such as The Rasmanthus Guild and those in positions of power, to those who require his services his virtues shine through as clear as moonlight on a starless night - as a tactican of near-divine talent capable of outmaneuvering the smartest tactical minds across the continent and beyond, he is a godsend to rebels, insurrectionists, and other errant beings in need whose causes are too small to stand on their own: A man whose mere presence brings about treasured victory and inspires the masses.   As such, despite his numerous psychological issues and chaotic personality, his greatest strength is his sympathy for lost causes, rebellions, insurrections, and even sabotage or espionage operations undertaken those who dearly believe in a cause but who face overwhelming odds - regardless of their motivations, he seems to honor and respect the notion of facing overwhelming odds in and of itself.   To add onto these virtues, he is an exceedingly simple man who lives well within his means - living as a wandering, quasi-temporal vagrant who trades his services for shelter, food, and water. He is a simple man with simple desires, almost entirely absent of greed, and asks for oftentimes excessively meager rewards for the tasks he is asked to undertake - little more than food, water, and shelter for the duration of a campaign give or take a few weeks if asked to lead a rebellion, and so on. As such, he seems to those who employ him to be a kind(If somewhat troubled) man, who is perhaps a bit too kind for his own good.

Vices & Personality flaws

Little information is known or recorded on the vices or flaws of Father Patriot, AKA Timothy Whiterose - he has not observed much outside of battlefield or tactical situations, and even during those has demonstrated no desire or interest in any vices such as smoking, drugs, or anything that might be listed as a "vice".   Likewise, the one known flaw of his is his trouble mental state - perhaps due to his Quasi-temporal nature which he does not seem to entirely be in control of, he seems to have wildly shifting and chaotic mental states, with various "personalities" each with their own names and sets of mannerisms seemingly to help him cope with the trauma of living a life as a vagrant, drifting from battlefield to battlefield trading services as a leader and commander for shelter, food, and water.

Hygiene

As a lifelong vagrant who drifts not only across the landscape but across time itself in ways he does not seem wholly capable of controlling, he does the best with his hygiene where he can - but often has the hygiene one might expect from a homeless, drifting vagrant who spends months if not years outside of civilization waging guerrilla campaigns, leading revolts or rebellions, or leading espionage operations behind enemy lines.

Social

Contacts & Relations

As one of the most brilliant minds on all of Zheng-Kitar, Timothy Whiterose has been employed by nearly all rebels, insurrectionists, rogue generals, actual generals, and armies of all sizes for decades and even centuries - giving him one of the most extensive network of contacts, relations, and affilitations such that it likely exceeds that of Silus Hotspur, famed leader of Necro Shroud and #5 Most Wanted on Zheng-Kitar. His name(Or rather, his codename) of Father Patriot is spoken of in awed reverence by those at the bottom who wish to employ his deadly services, and whispered in fearful tones in shadowed corners by those at the top who fear his hyper-brilliant mind being deployed against them.

Family Ties

His family ties, if he has any, are an absolute mystery - much like the vagrant Warmaster himself.

Religious Views

Though many he follows the faith of Elsanne the Crimson, his religious views have never been confirmed at all - he does not wear religious iconography on his person nor does he seem to follow any code aside from cold, brutal victory. Sometimes, even, he seems to act in such a way as to confound and confuse those who try to find such religious meaning in his actions - following the tenets of one faith for part of one campaign, abiding by tenets that restrict himself and his armies' tactics only to brutally throw them away to gain an edge on the field of battle, callously tossing such tenets aside if it means gaining a decisive victory.

Social Aptitude

As described by those who have utilized his services to lead their rebel armies, insurrectionist forces, sabotage, blackmail, or other subterfuge, he is a driven man whose social state varies wildly from encounter to encounter - his mental state varies wildly from moment to moment, meaning that while he can be at times quite charismatic when the fancy strikes him, his wild mood swings and seemingly random personality shifts oftentimes make him a horrible socialite. While he is fairly confident no matter the scenario with an ego to match his long and storied list of accomplishments, it does little to make up for his chaotic personality.

Mannerisms

Timothy's mannerisms tend to vary wildly based on his seemingly constantly fluctuating mental state - varying anywhere from cold, calculating, and reserved to irrationally irritated and wildly furious depending on the situation...and indeed, many who have worked with him claim that he seems to have names or even entire personalities for various "facets" of his mental state, each with different mannerisms. However, the one constant that seems to remain as a throughline are his mannerisms during his bloody work - emotionless, detached, akin to a living computational device and nothing else whose sole focused is bringing victory to those who have summoned or hired him to lead their armies or forces to success on the field of battle or subterfuge.

Speech

The only clue that gives a hint as to a potential origin for the notorious Father Patriot, Timothy Whiterose has a thick Yatsimoan accent with a surprisingly deep, throaty, and gravelly voice that belies his boyish appearance and frame.

Wealth & Financial state

As he has never held land, titles, nobility, royalty, or anything of the like, Timothy lives seemingly entirely hand-to-mouth - relying on his strange quasi-temporal properties and the grace of those who require his services to feed himself much like the world's smartest, deadliest vagrant who lives off trading his deadly skills for food, shelter, and drink.
The White Rose blooms for fleeting innocence - and wilts when innocence is lost.   So fleeting, yet so precious. A thing to preserve - yet none can bloom forever.   Representing an end that cannot be stopped, but is mourned all the same.
