ZinZai Marketing Package 14/92: Analysis
What little is known of ZinZai training and conditioning comes via refugee accounts and a leaked 992 ZinZai marketing package. Reports of family members returning from training as different people—polished and cold-blooded—are consistent across refugee accounts.
Kristin Bishoff operated an “underground railroad” on Olympus, Hodgson, smuggling at-risk persons out-system.
Bishoff’s sister, Juliet Bishoff, was drafted some 15 years earlier before the two became estranged.
The railroad became aware of a former Lion who had reportedly broken conditioning and sought safe transport out of Hodgson. Over several months, the Lion’s intel aided several persons of interest in evading custody. The Lion’s family were reunited and preparations made to smuggle them out of the system.
Footage bearing the ZinZai watermark documents the Lion’s family joyfully reuniting with him in the seconds before the subject executes all four members. At what point in the chain of custody the Lion procured a sidearm is unclear. A chiron states the Lion performed this act in exchange for a promotion and an 8% raise in pay.
Footage—also watermarked—shows Juliet Bishoff, Kristin’s sister, entering the Bishoff family home via the front, before exiting via the rear shortly after and departing in a waiting vehicle. In the intervening 27 seconds, the lives of Juliet’s mother, father, uncle, and two sisters—Kristin among them—violently ended.
Juliet Bishoff, aware of her sister’s role in the railroad, had built the counterinsurgency operation, engineering the most efficient way to expose all components of the cell before promptly exterminating it. A chiron states Bishoff performed this act in exchange for a promotion and an 8% raise in pay.
The leak of this marketing package garnered a 4% rise in ZinZai revenue, a 32% drop in refugee outflow, and a 3% drop in civilian disobedience within Hodgson and Pasco.
