A port city in the cove of Knomm Grähi the Bridt Sche region of the The Waves.
Demographics
The city is home to Shifter Dragons of Black Wing Flight, Red Draconic, Blue Wing Flight, and Green Wing Flight although they don't make a high population of the city which is typical for most Dragon cities. The Black Dragons do take the governing of the city for Bridt Schtricksüker with one of them being a mayor of the city.
Since the city was an Elven back in the day many Elves live in the city and that is still the case. It is believed that some Miylian Elders in the form of Nuossa Nualestota still live in the city and within Knomm Grähi. This is speculation because none of the Elves that may be Miylian Elders will come forward because they may fear the Dragons since they lost the Miylian War. Chlai Elves make up most of the Elven population because Knomm Grähi was where their ancestors came from so it makes sense that some of them settled in their ancestral home. Light Elves make up the second most Elves followed by a few Wild Ones Elves.
Humans of course live everywhere they can and make up most of the population of the city and do a lot of the work in the city that isn't glamorous. The Humans that primarily live in the city are Arthurian Humans and Dearmas a few of the other Humans from different places in Earth.
Dwarves and Orcs also live in the city but not too many of them do. The majority of them work either on the docks or the nearby mines because of their great strength and work ethics.
Government
Since the city is within Bridt Sche it is within the jurisdiction of Bridt Schtricksüker and is governed by them.
Industry & Trade
Shipping through land and sea is important to Nuivurze as trade is the life of the city and is something that they pride themselves on doing well. Many of the old sorting and shipping warehouses are still used for that purpose but now with machinery that makes shipping easier. Creates, barrels, and parcels are always coming and going.
There is a refinery at the edge of the city near the mine that focuses on refining Nuerune and Gold into ingots so that they can be used in craft and shipped to various points in the country and the world. Gems and Focus Crystals are cut and prepared for trading.
Infrastructure
Nuivurze is known for its port and the still profitable mine near the city in the foothills of The Waves. The port takes ships from many different areas of the world from the region of Tuzæksoskī that Bridt Schtricksüker owns on the other side of The Waves, Joprjatsejepefe owned by the Crimson Wing Flight Dragons, and various other countries. This trade has made the city wealthy.
There is also a shipwright within the city where a lot of trading vessels are made and during war times has even created some warships.
The city is also wealthy through its surprisingly still productive even though it is one of the oldest mines in the world. One reason why it's profitable is that Nuerune, Gold, and natural Focus Crystals in addition to various gems. Since the mine is nearby the raw materials are often sold and refined in the city before being traded.
The city doesn't grow its own food but it does have a decent fishing industry and trades most of its food from the nearby farming town of Dudt Ronnts.
History
Nuivurze is one of the oldest cities in Bridt Sche and was believed to have been founded by Veninedute the Goddess of Wealth and Commerce and that is why the city is still profitable even thousands of years later.
Points of interest
The Temple of Veninedute is no longer being used as a place of worship to the goddess but is still active as a bank and one of the oldest banks in the country and a must see to anyone that visits the city to get a feel for the history of the city.
Geography
The city has a natural harbor in a cove which is important for the sea trade and fishing that is important to the city. The Waves are also near the city where a mine is situated in foothills of the mountains. The old road is maintained as a tourist destination next to a new modern road still going south to the ruins of Ubudongiu and Tichenfdt Ronnts.
