"Where would we be if the world died?"The Dearmas believe that proper stewardship of Miyla is important even if that means living in a way that reduces a lot of what modern life says is necessary for existence. With these views of greater responsibility and stewardship, they grow their food and use other means to power their homes rather than using power that Pfussäwinn Witts has produced using its Konn Prünnzu reactors throughout the city. They power their homes and business with old generators and wind turbines since most of them live in the slums of Nyiltokti so using solar panels would not work since the slums are below the nicer parts of the city. They make use of grow beds and greenhouses throughout the slums not just to grow many different plants throughout the year but to protect them from the dangers of the slums. A few even raise animals for food as well but most prefer to just eat plants instead.

Since most of the people that are Dearmas are Humans that live on Miyla the speak the languages that humans mostly use on Miyla or at least one of them. Those languages are Arthurian Miyla Human Language, Jade Miyla Human Language, and Zulu Miyla Human Language. Since they live in lands that the Black Wing dragons control most of them can also speak Miyla Black Dragonic since that is the official language in that area.
Shared customary codes and values
Dearmas believes that Konn Prünnzu is not just the magical essence of the world flowing through the leylines but that every soul regardless of the magical ability of the person when they were alive first passes through Konn Prünnzu and flows with the planet before moving on. To them using Konn Prünnzu as a power source is wasteful and goes against the memory of those who have past on. They are all heavy against Pfussäwinn Witts a power company that has been slowing taking over Bridt Schtricksüker the government of Bridt Sche which is where the city of Nyiltokti is believing that Pfussäwinn Witts needs to be held responsible for the misuse of Konn Prünnzu and abuse of power. Dearmas also are not the biggest supporters of Bridt Schtricksüker since the Black Wing Flight's government has done nothing to stop Pfussäwinn Witts.
