Bestiary of The Pit - the lesser known creatures

The people who currently inhabit The Pit woke up here only 15 years ago. The environment, the rules, the flora, and the fauna of this place are still mostly a mystery to them. Discovering, researching, and sharing knowledge about them is very important to the survival of others. And so, the first edition of The Pit's bestiary, and many next editions, were created. It doesn't matter whether organic or inorganic, spiritual or material, coming from inside or outside of The Pit, Elemental, or formed by one of the anomalies, as long as it is some life or something imitating life, the authors of those books plan to describe it in their magnum opus.   This is not the first edition of said bestiary. Instead, it focuses on creatures that are either rarely seen due to their location or the ones that tend to be overlooked.

Content

The authors of the bestiary divided it into 9 categories. The first three describe creatures most common to the layers of The Pit depending on their depth (The Surface layers, The Tree layers, The Depths). The fourth chapter describes the unique beings of the The Layer of Factories located within the area of the Tree layers. The next two chapters describe the living beings that inhabitants of The Pit keep around for their uses, either the ones they have domesticated or in the case of homunculi, the ones they have created. The last three chapters describe the abnormal fauna of three out of four Great anomalies.

I like all the different classifications reflected in the bestiary. The Red Sea is slightly alarming.
