Natives of Earth, humans are the most recent species to achieve Emergence at the time of the Bubble. Considered something of a problem by the Society Of Contemporary Races who were concerned not only at the damage that had been done to the ecosystems of Earth before emergence but also at the impact on Escaloda from genocidal agricultural policies, humans were unusually not granted a place within the society. They were instead placed under a kind of long term probation and subjected to the Limitation. They were finally permitted to acceed to the society as late as 4186, almost two thousand years after emergence.
