Heir to the Duchy of Wargun
Fendrick has lived long enough to become the heir to duchy of Wargun but despite his nearly forty winters, has yet to claim that title his his grandfather. It is perhaps for the best, he will tell any listener as he does not have the head for politics. That was, after all, Riktar's destiny. Fendricks was to cut a stunning figure in uniform and command various facets of Wargun's Watchers, or at least their cavalry and navy. It was with this intent that he spent his late teens at the War College of Gartcha and insisted that he work his way through the officer core on his own merits. To this day he is one of the few in the Watchers who have both commanded a battalion of horse and a longship and one of the fewer to have done both well.
A bachelor these past fifteen winters after his wife died giving birth to his only son, Fendrick has remained a bachelor ever since, a black band around his left arm as mark of his continual morning. While he will never admit it, his has never forgiven his son for his wife's death. His son's predilections for frivolity have further strained their relationship and he finds himself far closer to his daughter Nylah who, despite being unable to serve in the Zennonaize Cavalry due to her position as a noblewoman has followed in his stirrups and is, in his estimation anyway, the finest lancer and horseback archer in the Duchy. He would, were it up to him, simply name Nylah his heir but tradition - something his grandfather stands strongly behind, as well as Nylah's older sister make that impractical.

Heir to the duchy of Wargun only because of his older brother's death, Fendrick is not well suited to court life. He is soldier, hunter, and overall man of action, cutting a striking figure in the various uniforms he has donned over his life. A widower of nearly fifteen winters, he has three children that cause him no end of angst.
