Often called the emerald princess after her green eyes, Marie was renowned for her beauty, grace on the dance floor, and subtle though often cutting sense of humor. And while her older sister may have made a better match, marrying into the position of princess for an entire nation, albeit a small one, both she and her father - a fairly minor noble from Paaz - was pleased with her position and dowery. And her husband turned out to be a dashing Cavalry officer with whom she quickly fell in love. The two lived a decade together, the darlings of the Zennonaize court and although Fendrick's service meant their time together was short, it proved both fiery and fruitful as they had three children. Sadly their marriage did not last as she died giving birth to her third child - and only son.
