Nolan Darin
Prince of Wargun
As the youngest member of the Darin family, Nolan has managed to disappoint just about everyone. Fortunately, he doesn't seem to care. Instead, Nolan goes about his young life as he sees fit, squandering coin on "frippery and folly," as his father would say. The lad favors fine clothing of as style more fashionable in the humid courts of Phelandria or Drythe than in frigid Wargun, with white lace and flamboyant silks. He wears his hair long, his dark curls almost tight ringlets framing his slightly chubby cheeks. An accomplished dancer, he makes the ladies of the court swoon and has seductive reputation among the maids and stable boys of the Old Dono's Palace.
His passion for music - he is an excellent harpist and accomplished flautist - poetry, and art would certainly find greater appreciation at the cities of the Inner Seas. These skills, however, earn him no points with the more martial minded men of the Darin clan. Nolan is hopeless with a saber and admits to a strong fear of horses - something unheard of amongst the Zennonaize. His father has told enough of his friends, in confidence of course and only when well into his cups, that we feels like of three daughters, at least Nyx will make him a favorable marriage match. Still, Nolan is set inherit the Duchy some day. If only he'd grow out of this phase.

The foppish youngest member of the Darin clan is, frankly, an embarrassment to his family. No one seems to understand his predilection for fashion, art, poetry, and romance. Worse, for a Zennonaize, he is afraid of horses.
