Sgt. Striker Hayc {pronounced "Haysh"} was one of the first Clan Venn folks to opt for the "full Mando'ade" route, which he has since moderated a little. I gather that Spar's arguments with me before and after certain Family Discussions -- to which, I will continue to shout as necessary at his memory in the Living Force, I was specifically invited as an informational resource -- helped Striker and some of the others figure out a variety of "traditional" Mando that is more, I dunno, cosmopolitan? than Spar's exclusively strict interpretation.
Which, if I read right, is as historically "valid" as Spar's version. Not that my opinion on either has any relevance!
More importantly: Some of the other Beskar Aran have signed on to Clan Hayc. I do not know who is currently considered the senior ranking member of the clan, or if they have bothered to designate a "senior" in the first place. If I had a question about the Hayc, and no individual member was in my vicinity, I would probably drop a message to Striker.
And hope his "dog" does not pick it up.
About this "dog":
Its progenitor was a kath hound which had probably been infected by those retrovirus-filled critters on Tor Ceti. The Kaminoan trio of Lo Ren, Tan Sho, and Gel Lee altered the samples to be stronger and have a color-adjusting pigment in their fur. This adolescent puppy was the only one not to sprout extra limbs, spine-throwing tails, proboscides, or scales.
Striker says it's fine, because it's not like Doggo is a salky hound.
Doggo does not have horns, thank the Force. Doggo has two clawed toes instead of one hoof at the end of each foot, and a dewclaw toe on the back legs. Doggo has his own helmet and atmo suit, which he will dance off to fetch if you say "BOO-shay?" the way a Vor lady says, "Walkies?"
