Milton and the Cannon Street Cobras
If the gang choose to help Milton
They can't find Milton around, but they can talk to the Caffeinhagen University Tinkerers, and find out:- Milton hasn't really been himself recently, he's been a bit quiet and irritable
- He won't tell them what he's been working on. He's always had a few different projects on the go, they don't always know exactly what he's doing, but recently he's been a lot more secretive
- They don't know anything about any dealings with the Cannon street Cobras
- They've been wondering how the family business is doing - the Ashbluffs don't have a lot of money, and the business has been their lifeline
- The address of Ashbluff's Autos
- Milton will try to get rid of the gang - the situation with the Cobras was already bad, and they've inadvertently made it worse
- They've had to take business from shadier sources as Alanmantium powered vehicles and straight up teleportation have been slowly phasing out combustion engines
- They took some simple repair jobs from the Cobras, and hadn't had any trouble, they'd paid promptly and been appreciative
- Recently, the gang have tried to squeeze the Ashbluffs - not paying in full, threatening them with violence if they didn't still do the work etc
- They'd fitted a turbocharger to the car of the boss - Qazzaxx Zhaqhiss - and it blew up in a street race, meaning Qazzaxx lost the race, and his car. They told Qazzaxx not to turn the boost up past 15PSI... and he did, so it's his fault
- The Cobras are on their way to Ashbluffs to talk money. They want compensation for the car, and for getting beaten up
- They don't want to smash the place up, Ashbluff's are good at what they do, and there aren't any other garages on Cobra turf. They'll threaten violence, though, if they don't get full compensation for the value of the car and damages for the loss of reputation
If the gang choose not to help Milton
The Cobras still go to Ashbluff's Autos, and take out their frustrations on the Ashbluff's, threatening Milton's parents, and taking all the money they have. The Cobras will return every once in a while to continue to collect on their debt until they're happy. Later, Milton will complete his Iron Man-esque armour, and approach the gang to help him take down the Cobras.The disappearance of Custard Sneeler
If the gang choose to help Elroy
There's not loads they can do at the moment. When they went to the Tabernacle, it was a bit of a dead end. They could:- Put up flyers and start a campaign, try to see if anyone has seen Custard
- They could visit an animal shelter and see if they've seen Custard
- They could go back to the Tabernacle of Torm to investigate further
- They remember Elroy coming back to the Tabernacle time and again to ask about Custard, getting increasingly agitated each time, increasingly dejected, and descending into madness and anger, until one day he simply stopped coming
- They tell the gang that there's an animal shelter they take strays to if any come to the Tabernacle, or if anyone brings an animal to them
- The animal shelter don't have records of a dog by the name of Custard, but the person they speak to mentions that there are a number of organizations/gangs that are on the lookout for animals to sell, sometimes to homes, sometimes into horrible fighting rings. If the owner of the dog hasn't seen him for 4 years, it's not likely that he will again
If the gang choose not to help Elroy
Nothing happens. Custard is still out there. The long game is that Custard was taken by a gang, and thrown into dog fighting. He managed to escape, but his mind was warped by the training he was forced through, and he has no memory of his former life. He has become The Bat, a masked avenger who is brutally taking down the gangs that he was mixed up in. The gang will find out about The Bat through the papers.The incident at the science block
If the gang choose to investigate
They could talk to:- Amira, who can help them figure out what to do next
- Talk to Raleigh about any movements of explosives or documents around/in/out of the city
- Talk to science students and/or faculty about the Head of Chemistry, and what they may have been up to
- The Head of Chemistry has been working a lot of late nights recently
- They've been keeping their office locked very diligently
- They've been clocked coming to work in the same clothes as the day before on a few occasions
- They've been seen at anti-mining rallies
- The heads of Chemistry, Physics and Engineering seem to be good friends, talking a lot, leaving work together etc
If the gang don't investigate
Nothing happens this session, but something starts bubbling next session.A fireball at the window
At the end of the session, if the gang are back at home, they'll be woken up by shouting in the quad. It sounds like posh voices, saying their names. The twins are drunk in th quad. If the gang go to the window, a fireball smashes through and hits the apartment. End of session.Other things that could happen
Wonderwall
The gang see flyers up for an Open Mic Night at Northern Lights, a pub in Caffeinehagen with a Northern theme. Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher catch up with Brianna and Domenica and invite them to it. The pub has a big bar, lots of tables and seating areas. Every wall is different, some with big brightly coloured murals and graffiti, some covered in newspaper cuttings and pages. There's a wall of fame with all the bands that have played there, a smoke machine for atmosphere, and a small stage with a few lights and a PA set up, ready for the Open Mic night. The lads are ready to play, and dressed to impress. They've both put on their favourite Volton Wanderers Blitzball shirts. Noel has put a casual blazer over the top of his. Liam has a scarf on but no coat. When it's time for them to play, they both put on sunglasses. Noel takes out a big, beautiful acoustic guitar out of a case, the piece of wood used for the top is so figured that it seems to move and shimmer in the light. They tell the gang they hope they enjoy the gig, and head up on stage. Once they get on stage, they kill it, the audience in the pub transfixed by their music. At the end of the gig, they argue about who they're going to dedicate the final song to, and who wrote it. They finally decide that they co-wrote it, and to dedicate it to both Brianna and Domenica. They play Wonderwall, and it brings the house down. Encounter with the Cannon Street Cobras could happen on night out if they don't help Milton. Encounter with Heroes of Everlasting Splendour could happen on night out if they choose to go out after the gig.The device under the stairs
The gang find a notice on the device from the campus caretakers to say that furniture left in the hallways is a fire risk, and if it isn't moved in a few days, it'll be disposed of.Primary exams
The gang must take their primary exams, setting their first student dice.
