The Shifting Desert
The Shifting Desert, commonly reffered to as the Great Desert, is a vast wasteland of dunes stretching from the soutern parts of Osternfel all the way to the Agamarian Bay. The desert shifts with the winds with its dunes slowly flow like waves, moving in a slow cycle. Some cultures have adopted that rhythm of flow to their dwellings. Those so called Sand Drifters live inside towns and villages that float on the sand using giant sails attached to their structures. Some are even linked together forming surprisingly large cities.
