Edoran Monolith

The Edoran Monolith is a 260 feet (80 meters) tall pillar located in the The Shifting Desert. The monument is made of unknown metal that is resistant both to rust and to magic and depicts the continent. It is the oldest known map of the continent and one of the most accurate to ever be made.
The runes on the monolith are written in Celestial and translate to "Land of the Edo." The name has become almost synonymous with continent, used by many even if they do not know its context or origins.
