The Seared Lands

The Seared Lands are a large plateau in the center of the Imperial Lands. The area used to be heavily forested but was completely incinirated in the aftermath of the Battle of the Second Sun, which boiled nearly all of its groundwater and left it completely barren and almost unable to support life. None of the fauna and flora currently present in Seared Lands is native, and remains of its former, vast ecosystems can still be seen.
