Scattered and somewhat isolated, their gleaming scales mark them as descendants of beings often named
evil or
horrid, but this is not the life that they have chosen. These people find solace in their colored scales, joining with those that share the same colors, the same horns, and the same danger that can spout from their maw. Amongst the right people, they can make their homes and thrive, hoping to remove themselves from an assumption that they had no part in making.
Chromatic Dragonkin are the descendants of one of the
Elder Races and a
Chromatic Dragon. Their unique heritage allows them to walk amongst all manner of people and creatures, but their scales can bring judgment as easily as they can bring acceptance. Because of this, these people choose integration or isolation, joining in with the folks of their more humanoid heritage or creating tribes of their
Draconic heritage where there are not as bound by assumptions made about the color of their scales.
Currently, Chromatic Dragonkin can be found living throughout the world and are integrated into many societies, but they most commonly make their homes on one of the
Zóni called
Ullindar. You will find these people in small tribal communities, large cities, and as travelers throughout the world but outside of their home country, it is rare to find gatherings larger than that of a tribe. The largest city on the island of
Ullindar is called
Fearsome Maw and it is a curious city that shows a highly segregated aspect of their culture where each variety of
Dragonkin, not just the Chromatic varieties, has their own sector of the city and their own gate that is used without exception.

I like the overview of each colour of Chromatic Dragonkin - it really helps give a quick general insight into each one. I feel bad that they are judged for the colour of their scales because of what their dragon ancestors were capable of. Very curious to read more about Fearsome Maw in the future.
