Iroa is the mortal realm, a world of living myth and legend. The warm sun glitters off bronze armor and shining seas, and the stars show the dance and will of the deities above. Magic thrums quietly in every rock and stream, and monsters stalk the lonely corners of the world... and frequently the tenuous bastions of civilization, as well.
The campaign takes place in the southern hemisphere in the Firesea region, so it is hotter to the north and colder to the south. This is by no means an exhaustive overview of the region, but merely seeks to summarize what your characters are most likely to know from growing up in this setting. This is especially true in that as literate adventurers, chosen to help settle a new colony, you are more cosmopolitan, educated, and well traveled than most plebians.
The most relevant places to you as the campaign opens, which you should know even if all else passes in one synapse and out the next, are the concepts of Iroa, Ithea, and Khefir; your Origin, which is the polis your character comes from; and your colony town of Tykos in the Zafer valley. It may also help to know that Tykos is sponsored by Krypteia and Senemet!
