Chrysolos

Also called the Gap of Hyperion, Chrysolos comprises the golden great plains and rolling low hills of the Makrys Peninsula, south of the forked tongue of the northern Hyperenees. They largely fill most of the stretch of continent between the northern and southern spines of the Hyperenees, from the ocean of Pyrmar in the west to the sea of Aspros in the east. 
This is said to be the homeland of the Thaurian, so few "civilized" folk have had occasion to travel here despite the agricultural potential of the region. It is certain, however, that Pelekys has an eye on this fertile land.
