Kochyl Bay

A verdant bay rich in fish and other marine life in the northwest of the Makrys Peninsula, facing the oceanic Pyrmar at the mouth of the Zafer river. The favorable terrain and natural harbor make it a logical place for settlement, even before accounting for the locus, and so the colony of Tykos has been established here where the river meets the bay.    The most notable feature of the bay is a somewhat decayed moss-covered stone colossus from the Age of Giants which stands at the entrance of the harbor, rising to such a grandiose height that ships can easily sail side by side by side between its legs.
