The Khefiri Homeland

The Golden Lands, marking the northern edge of the Pyrmar. The primary cultural underpinning of this land is Egypt by way of Ethiopia, in contrast to the Grecian based cultures of the campaign's main region. Scales, aven, and desert-based mammals are the most common Fera in this land. 
Those areas not held by wandering tribes are typically dominated by city-states ruled by pharaohs, each scheming against the others to increase the influence of his or her realm and hold the power of Qabir and the Krypteian League at bay. Because of the lack of unified government in the region many bandit gangs and worse terrors operate with impunity, especially in the border areas between the pharaonic kingdoms and Qabir to the east. Senemet, however, stands as the most powerful of the pharaonic poleis and is widely considered the most likely to establish hegemony, due to various factors like its queen's cunning leadership and the strength of its alliance with Krypteia.
