The Karro Whacks is the name given to ser Cody Karro's Honour Guard. Their sigil is a gold ring on a white field. Their commander ser Cody is a renowned negotiator, with the company often chosen to deliver parley to the opposing forces.

Tactics

The Karro Whacks are all able swordsmen, each capable of standing toe to toe with some of the best fighters in Greland, but their true value lies not in their skill at arms but in ser Cody Karro's silver tongue. Many battles have been settled for his employers from the comfort of the opponent's command tent without a blade having to be drawn. Equally, many enemy commanders have let ser Cody's conversational nature draw them into making some mistake - revealing a secret or a plan, and thereby creating their own downfall in the ensuing battle.

History

The Royal Coalition vs House Darklyn

In March of 443KS the company was amongst a large number of Mercenaries hired by House Darklyn of Darklyn Point to defend against The Royal Coalition led by ser Allon Southbay to depose Hallkatla Darklyn.

Denied the opportunity to parley with the opposing forces by their decision to march and meet the Darklyn forces at Eastcross, the Karro Whacks remained with the Darklyn reserves, avoiding becoming engaged in The Battle.

Following the battle ser Cody rode out to communicate with the Coalition forces and negotiated the ransom of several of The Queens' Men including their commander Alrah Queensmen from Shela Blackwood. The terms agreed required ser Cody to personally escort Alrah to Latchcastle, which he readily agreed to following accounts of the Coalition forces' fighting.

Tourney at Southbay 443KS

In October of 443KS ser Cody accepted an invitation to attend a Tourney being held in The City of Southbay and its surrounding territories as part of their Festival of the Stormwyrm celebrations.
