Lady Marielyn Hewlett
Marielyn was the head of the Hewlett family for a number of years. With her husband Sammen Hewlett she had a number of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As with most families in Hillhurst, the Hewletts are scattered far and wide across Greland and beyond. Marielyn was originally from Selsa's Rest and was the titular leader of the settlement, but she was rarely to be found there, preferring instead to spend her time moving between her various descendants' homes and businesses, keeping 'afloat' of their situations and maintaining ties between their various operations.
She was succeeded by her daughter Dorthy Hewlett. However, to Marielyn's disappointment, Dorthy took strongly after her father - a disciplined, determined and above all honest man. Dorthy's first husband, Darvin was similarly minded. Fortunately her second spouse, Minella Volmark-Hewlett was more to Marielyn's liking, and Dorthy's children seem to have been evenly split between which of the parents they take after.
Aside from Dorthy, Marielyn had two other children, both grown and with children of their own.
Marielyn died in 443KS at the age of seventy-five in Latchcastle.
