Velleen Firecrow-Deceased

Velleen Firecrow

Velleen Firecrow, a female human, was the assistant manager at the Lionshield Coster in Phandalin. She was also secretly a member of the Cult of Talos.

Campaign Recap

Learning About Velleen (30 Tarsakh)

On 30 Tarsakh, Halia Thornton approached Collateral Damage and told them what she had observed about Velleen, the new assistant manager at the Lionshield Coster: Phandalin. Halia saw Velleen's necklace and recognized it as a symbol of the Cult of Talos, and Halia was concerned that any new chaos in the town would impact her business at the Phandalin Miners' Exchange.

Halia asked Collateral Damage to give her more information about Velleen, or ideally to drive her out of town. Halia also mentioned that she didn't trust Velleen's kobold servants. The group also learned that Garaele Edermath recognized Velleen as a worshiper of Talos and was watching her closely.

Later that day, Collateral Damage visited Lionshield Coster: Phandalin and met Velleen for the first time (for more details, visit the Lionshield Coster: Phandalin page).

Velleen and Ander (30 Tarsakh-Greengrass)

In the afternoon on 30 Tarsakh, Conor McGregor, Rayphlárd, Shinzon Greenshadow and Tubby visited Barthen's Provisions. They overheard shop assistant Ander Sogard talking about Velleen, that she was talking about how the "Storm Lord" was going to destroy non-believers. Ander initially thought she was joking, but he changed his mind and thought she may actually believe that.

While the rest of the party was inside Barthen's Provisions, Herb Stoner was waiting outside and he saw one of Velleen's kobold servants. The kobold was standing with his arms crossed and staring at Herb.

The following day at the Greengrass Festival, Elmer Barthen hosted a "Chase the Chicken" contest in which 10 chickens were released in a caged area and the participants tried to catch the most chickens. The participants were Ander, Rayphlard, Thistle Sogard and Velleen. Rayphlard was the winner, and there was notable tension between Ander and Velleen during the contest.

Velleen's Failed Ambush (1 Mirtul)

On 1 Mirtul, Collateral Damage was leaving Phandalin when they were ambushed by Velleen and her kobold assistants. Argus Skeel was also planning an ambush, and he joined the fight after it started with two swarms of bats and a reanimated Ander. After all of their enemies were defeated - including Velleen - the party found a letter from Fheralai to Velleen (for more details, visit the Letters Between Fheralai and Velleen page).
