Ander Sogard

Ander Sogard, a male human, was a shop assistant at Barthen's Provisions in Phandalin.
On Day 17 of the campaign (30 Tarsakh), Collateral Damage was north of Phandalin when they saw several oxen running away from town. The oxen were from Barthen's Provisions, and Ander Sogard and Thistle Sogard were chasing after them. Ander and Thistle eventually recovered the oxen and brought them back to be tied up behind the shop.
Later that day, Conor McGregor, Rayphlárd and Tubby visited the shop; Shinzon Greenshadow was also with the group, but he was invisible after taking a potion of invisibility. They walked in on Elmer Barthen talking to Ander and his brother Thistle Sogard; Ander was describing how Velleen Firecrow, the assistant manager at Lionshield Coster: Phandalin who recently moved to town, was starting to act strange. Ander said that Velleen was talking about how the "Stormlord" was going to destroy non-believers. He thought she was joking, but he changed his mind and thought she may actually believe that.
On Day 18 (Greengrass), before the Greengrass Festival, Conor McGregor was walking around the streets of Phandalin looking for anything suspicious after hearing about Herb Stoner's encounter with undead creatures at the Rockseeker Camp the night before. Conor saw Ander loading a cage of chickens onto a wagon, and Conor asked Ander if he saw anything unusual. Ander replied that it was a normal night, that Thistle was snoring all night like usual.
Later that day, at the festival, Elmer Barthen hosted a "Chase the Chicken" contest in which 10 chickens were released in a caged area and the participants tried to catch the most chickens. The participants were Ander Sogard, Rayphlárd, Thistle Sogard and Velleen Firecrow. Rayphlard was the winner, and there was notable tension between Ander and Velleen.
On Day 19 (1 Mirtul), Collateral Damage was leaving Phandalin when they were ambushed by Velleen Firecrow and her Talassan assistants. Argus Skeel was also planning an ambush, and he joined the fight after it started with two swarms of bats and a reanimated Ander. During the combat, Velleen was frustrated that Ander was claimed by Argus, and she fired an arrow and killed the undead version of Ander. Collateral Damage eventually defeated Velleen and her Talassan assistants, as well as Argus and his bats.
