Rayphlárd is a male dragonborn barbarian/sorcerer with blue dragon ancestry.
On Day 4 of the campaign (17 Tarsakh), Rayphlárd approached the Sleeping Giant in Phandalin and planned to confront the Redbrand Ruffians at the same time as Conor McGregor, Herb Stoner and Sildar Hallwinter planned to do the same. Gwenlinn happened to walk up to the Sleeping Giant at the same time. The group of five entered the tavern and got into a fight with Seth Redbrand; the Redbrands were killed in the fight, and the tavern owner Grista escaped.
Rayphlárd then joined the party (Collateral Damage) and continued traveling with them through the rest of the campaign.
Physical Description
Special abilities
Due to his blue dragon ancestry, Rayphlard can use his lightning breath as an attack.
Apparel & Accessories
Rayphlard proudly wore a hat with a black goose-feather poof on the top, but sadly it was damaged when the group was at Wyvern Tor and surprising the Many Arrows Tribe on Day 7 of the campaign (20 Tarsakh(. He left the hat caught on a branch outside the cave at Wyvern Tor, saying that it was his brother's hat.
Since the start of the campaign, Rayphlard has acquired a jeweled eye patch and a pair of glasses, both taken from Mosk while Mosk was charmed during separate encounters.
Rayphlard's woodcarving tools are symbols of his past life. He carries them so that he never forgets his roots.
Specialized Equipment
Rayphlard has acquired many items since the start of the campaign, including:
- "Talon," a magic longsword found in the crevasse guarded by a nothic in the Redbrand Hideout under Tresendar Manor in Phandalin.
- A shield that formerly belonged to King Grol of the Cragmaw Tribe.
- A set of plate armor that formerly belonged to Sildar Hallwinter of the Lords' Alliance.
Rayphlard also carries a handaxe, javelins, a morningstar, a spear and a set of studded leather armor.

Personal history
Rayphlard lived in Leilon at the start of the campaign. His brother Hurlbárth died while working in the fields, and he suspected it was the Redbrand Ruffians from Phandalin. He found a cloak with an R about 300 feet away from his home. After traveling into Phandalin and asking someone about the cloaks, he learned more about the Redbrands and their reputation.

Before joining Collateral Damage and starting the life of an adventurer, Rayphlárd was a woodcarver for the House of Razaycrynth in Leilon.
Accomplishments & Achievements
On Day 18 of the campaign, at the Greengrass Festival in Phandalin, Rayphlard won a "Chase the Chicken" contest. The other participants were Ander Sogard, Thistle Sogard and Velleen Firecrow.
