Neverwinter is founded.
Dalereckoning is taken from the Year of Sunrise, when the Standing Stone was raised by the elves of Cormanthor and the human Dalesfolk. Since this time, humans were permitted by the Elven Court to settle in the more open regions of the forests. In some texts, primarily those which do not have direct ties to Dales history, Dalereckoning is called Freeman's Reckoning (FR). The calendar is widely used in Faerûn but has not spread beyond its shores.
Neverwinter is founded.
After years of preparation, Benjalem starts his first of several journey's into the Neverwinter Woods in search of the legendary site Furtîlorn. He never returned from his last expedition into the woods, leaving many to wonder if he ever found it.
Benjalem, at 556 years old, dies of natural causes at Furtîlorn. He was survived by his son, Melv.
While caring for victims of the Spellplague, Ilyra Saevel Nylathria contracts the disease and is exiled from Cormyr shortly after.
Erky Timbers is born in Westbridge.
Mount Hotenow erupts, destroying dozens of towns, village, and decimating the city of Neverwinter.
Markus Grasswind is born as the second child and son of Vernon and Nancy Grasswind at Westpharyl Ranch.
Alessandra Corlinnar is born as the second child and only daughter to the lord and lady of House Corlinnar at a private estate in Waterdeep.
Matthew Grasswind is born as the forth child and son of Vernon and Nancy Grasswind at Westpharyl Ranch.
Lilith Blackheart is placed under the tutelage of Jhan Relic by her mother, Nathalia Blackheart. Jhan spends just over four years teaching her the fundamentals of the arcane, specializing in the school of necromancy. Her lessons are cut short after he is critically wounded while dueling Nathalia, and is thought to have died.
Dagult Neverember, the Open Lord of Waterdeep, returns to Neverwinter. He becomes the Lord Protector and launches the Neverwinter Restoration project. Old Neveren nobles are invited to return to the city and rebuild their lost titled.
One noble family that returned with Dagult Neverember was House Corlinnar.
Jhan Relic leads a group of Red Wizards in a raid on Anzar's Hideout. Jhan disappears admits the sudden eruption of the Spellplague and is presumed dead.
While patrolling northwest of Triboar, Markus Grasswind and his fellow guards were attacked by a raging owlbear. All except him were ripped a pieces. He fled the scene, during which he stumbled upon ancient dragon crests. After the crests misfired, killing the owlbear that pursued him, Markus took the lore home, locked himself away, and began to study them.
GeorGedor challenges Chief Nosnra for the right to rule the Giants of Heim Haug. He accepts the duel. GeorGedor overpowers and kills him, becoming the new chieftain.
A fiery explosion partially destroys an abandoned building on Maplestep Street in Neverwinter, killing most members of an Asmodean cult that had been active there. An investigation is opened, but very few members of the cult are identified.
Alessandra Corlinnar, who was a member of the cult, is caught in the explosion. She is uninjured, but she is branded by the mark of Asmodeus.
The first expedition into the Sunless Citadel organized by Evanolhis was launched from Oakhurst. The expeditionary force was an adventuring party that consisted of Talgen and Sharwyn Hucrele, Karakas, and Sir Braford. Their objective was to investigate the Durbuluk Tribe's unusual activities. The expedition was a failure. Karakas and Talgen were killed, and Sharwyn and Sir Braford were captured.
After receiving a summons to Oakhurst by Evanolhis, Markus decided to travel to the village and begin his adventuring career.
Cooper Icebrook of Alben and Ester Icebrook goes missing near the Neverwinter Woods after going to fetch water.
Evanolhis summoned Alessandra Corlinnar, Markus Grasswind, Unit 7-5-3, and Zalak Dillon to Oakhurst for the Second Sunless Citadel Expedition .
The Durbuluk Tribe are almost entirely whipped out by the 2nd expedition group. Durnn is killed by Markus Grasswind and Grenl is killed by Calcryx. Survivors of the attack flee to the Underdark while others attempt an unsuccessful counter attack. News of the atrocity spreads slowly, but is immortalized in song by Miguel.
Lilith Blackheart finds and joins the 2nd Sunless Citadel Expedition Group.
Balsag is killed by Markus Grasswind of the Redwings. His remains were later taken to the Old Tower by Lilith Blackheart and used for necromantic practices.
Yusdrayl and her followers flee the Sunless Citadel and travel by night to Iskovam. The group is intercepted and attacked by the Circle of Thunder; many of them are killed and their dragon Calcryx escapes. All but four make it to the city: Meepo, Dekur, Tiktak'to, and Yusdrayl herself. Nakzzod grants the survivors asylum, but Meepo elects to return to the surface and search of the missing dragon.
Dazlyn Grayshard was killed by an ochre jelly while prospecting in the Abbathor Temple outside Oakhurst. His remains were never recovered.
GeorGedor lead the Giants of Heim Haug in an attack on Xantharl's Keep. With support from the Redwings, Narbeck Horn lead the Xantharl Garrison in the fort's defense. The defender eked out a close victory; the attack was repelled and the giants were routed.
A group of orc slaves lead by Grnak and stirred by the Redwings rebelled against GeorGedor and the Giants of Heim Haug. After two days of fighting the adventurers and orcs achieved a joint victory and peace conference was held. GeorGedor was exiled, the slaves were liberated, and Zalak Dillon was chosen as the new chief of the Giants of Heim Haug.
As a result of the peace conference held after the Orcish Uprising at Heim Haug, GeorGedor was placed under the effects of a geas spell and exiled to the Shadowfell.
Alessandra Corlinnar and Lilith Blackheart find and rescue Cooper Icebrook from Blight Beast Grove, and return him to his parents, Alben and Ester.
The adventuring group known as the Redwings was officially founded. Its initial members were Alessandra Corlinnar, Askra, Half-Moon, Lilith Blackheart, Markus Grasswind, and Miguel.
Miguel scoures the area around the Sunless Citadel and, with the help of Askra and Markus Grasswind, acquires the first of four armillary rings and the glass sphere that houses them.
Askra and Markus Grasswind slay the Kruthik Vampire Hivelord nested in the Underdark below the Sunless Citadel.
A two day celebration for the union of Zalak Dillon and Moog, the victory of the Redwings over GeorGedor, and Alessandra Corlinnar's birthday.
The Redwings acquire the 2nd lapis ring to Benjalem's magic armillary in the Neverwinter Woods near Icebrook Dairy.
The Redwings acquire the 3rd lapis ring to Benjalem's magic armillary from the "God Rock" earthmote above Blackford Crossing.
The Redwings acquire the 4th and final lapis ring to Benjalem's magic armillary.
A major expedition into the Neverwinter Woods with the goal of discovering the location of and harnessing the power of Furtîlorn. It was organized by Alessandra Corlinnar, Evanolhis, Worvil "the Weevil", and Zalak the Tiny Giant, and was lead by Evanolhis, Swordhar Tessele Evercrown, and Worvil "the Weevil". Organizations that participated in the expedition was the Forkbeard Family, Giants of Heim Haug, Redwings, and the Zhentarim.
Due to the time warping effects of the Feywild, the expedition takes much long than expected. The expedition officially ends on Nightal 4th, after the defeat of the awakened Gulthias in the Sylvan Circles. However, some of the explorers remain in the area to support the fey during their recovery. All participants of the effort return to their factions by the end of Spring in 1480.
The Phandaliers arrive at Phandalin late in the afternoon.
The Phandaliers fight the Black Spider for control over Wave Echo Cave. The conflicted ended with a decisive Phandalier victory.
While not licensed adventurers, the Phandaliers became the defacto adventuring party of the town of Phandalin and were officially recognized by the township. Members of the party were granted the right to base out of the town as contractors.
Venomfang is slain by the Phandaliers in the Neverwinter Woods during an ambush. His remains were harvests for hide and offal by Matthew Grasswind and his head was taken as a trophy.
Amaya comes in second place in the Phandalier Trials. The winner of the event declines an invitation to the Phandaliers, so Amaya is invited instead. She accepts and becomes the 5th member of the adventuring group.
Cryovain was slain by the Phandaliers at Icespire Hold. His remains were left in the care of the Cult of the Dragon, and his horde was seized by the adventurers.
The Phandaliers deliver a capybara to an exotic animal collector, Barbaros Iskandar, in Yartar.
They returned to Phanadalin on Alutriak 9th.
Their journey to Waterdeep starts on Hammer 10th and ends on the 27th.
All members of The Twelve were dispatched to investigate reports of a sudden increase in orc raids around Triboar. The deputies break into two parties, one riding west and the other south.
Hakan Grasswind leads the westward team, which contains "Lucky" Lucy Louke, Minnie Thundercreek, Nutea, and Stedlun Foehammer. Grommeth Karnveller the teamster accompanies the team as support.
On the 28th, the team convenes on a rendezvous between the leaders of the Eyegouger and Bonegnasher orc clans. They deduce that the raids are being perpetrated by 3rd party orcs, who are operating out of Butterskull Ranch.
The deputies launch a counterattack against the raiders on Hammer 30th. In the cover of a blizzard, they manage to wipe out the orcs. The battle ends in a decisive victory after Stedlun kills Brughor Axe-Biter.
Fire giants and their orcish allies attack Triboar with the goal of obtaining a large adamantine ring hidden within the town. The Triboar militia defends the town with support from the Phandaliers and the Executioners. Both sides achieve their victory conditions.
