Durin Straight

A tunnel through the Iron Mountains, from Durin Station leading directly to the city of Dun’Vol.
It is a very common trade route due to it being the only safe passage between Osirin and Elderan since the creation of the Deadwastes. 
The passage gets its name from Durin, the lone Dwarf that dug the tunnel through the mountain. It was dug over the period of a few centuries, with Durin’s daughter picking up the job after he passed on. Most thought the whole thing was a crazy endeavour until the creation of the Deadwastes.
The Durin family is now one of the richest families in Dun’Vol because of the tax they collect from the Straight.
