Goshnag
Goshnag is a small village located in northern Elderan, situated on the western banks of the Rhun Loch, and near the Silver Mountains.
Goshnag is an independent settlement, home to the Goshnag Orcish tribe, who almost exclusively make up the village's population. The tribe is arguably primitive, with a population of hunter gatherers and fishermen. The Goshnag tribe is also largely insular, preferring to keep to themselves, though they are friendly to outsiders, and are happy to share their culture and trade in goods, which are sometimes traded down the Goshnag Trail to Uskenna. Despite their willingness to trade, they are wary of unfamiliar technology and especially Magic, which they believe is an unnatural corruption.
Government
Goshnag is governed by a chief, the leader of the tribe, along with a council of village elders. The chief is chosen as leader by the other elders, and rules until death, or another elder is chosen to replace them.
Defence
Goshnag has no official defence outside of its population.
Commerce
Goshnag has a meagre trade of fish and animal pelts, cultivated from the local environment, as well as crafted clothes and jewellery, made from natural materials, which are traded down the Goshnag Trail to Uskenna.
Geography
Goshnag is a small village, situated on the western banks of the Rhun Loch, with the Silver Mountains and Silver Woodlands located to it's east.
The village is surrounded by a short, wooden wall, made from vertical, sharpened tree stumps. Within the wall are a collection of simple wooden buildings, decorated with animal pelts and woven tapestries, all centred around a communal hut and hearth. A small dock lies outside the walls, on the lake front, where a couple of simple fishing vessels are moored.
