Rhûn River
The Rhûn River is a long river located in the west of Elderan , beginning at Lake Darquin in the south of the region, crossing through the Rhûnwood and the Grey Muirs, before ending at the Rhûn Loch, in northern Elderan.
The Rhûn River is frequently traversed by trade ships and fishing vessels, being the main waterway of the continent, and the primary route of for both travel and trade across Elderan. The river is largely controlled by the Kingdom of Lorth'elon, with the settlements of Isilrhûd, Nona'rhûn and Uskenna all situated on the banks of the Rhûn River, as well as the independent town of Yahn'var, a former colony of the Kingdom of Lorth'elon.
In the centre of the Rhûn River, the river banks expand into a lake, sometimes called the Rhûn Lake, before narrowing back into the Rhûn River before it continues northwards. The island of Little Rhûn resides at the centre of the Rhûn Lake.
