Jarquılraw
Jarquılraw (The Bright Jungle) is located within The Feywild Realm, starting outside the town of Vartol, halfway along the Eastern coast of the Fen Sounds within Kutloc.
The jungle heads in land out to the edge of the long piece of the Prime Material Plane known as The Grounded Belt. The Black Rock surrounding the jungle stretches about 4-5 days hike - paths that are only really where the land is flattened with sides or sheer cliff. The only light within this jungle is from the massive plants. The leaves are broad and it is the veins that glow brightly.
It is firstly a relatively flat area at the Vartol end, with rough granite cliffs either side. There has been no caves yet found within Jarquilraw. The upper part of the cliff face is wet black granite with varying thickness of fog and slippery moss greenery.
Close to the Vartol end of Jarquilraw is a deep crevasse that takes 3 hours to walk alongside. It is 20ft across at the narrowest point.
There are 5 paths to choose from (right to left): -
1. the first and second on the right loop around to each other taking about 3 days - it is damper ground - the cliffs sides are very low close to the huge wide river. There are waters sources available deep within the jungle on this path - two pools of incredibly deep, crystal clear water that link to a wide river. Halfway along is a indented piece with a dry ledge.
2. (see above at 1.)
3. Straight ahead - a commonly used path in the past - pieces of slim land linked by swing bridges - two choices [(a. left = heads to solid land massive that takes time to leave the luminancted jungle ... comes out in Mud) and {b. right = slow whines through jungle to The Grounded Belt)]
4. Second left is fastest way to The Conibar Tribe part of The Grounded Belt - except it is clocked due to a long cave in - further along the path goes under a platform (100ft above) heading alongside the river until it is a safer place to cross via a long swing bridge after the waterfall (away from where the Dragon Turtle swims).
5. first left goes through an old wide tunnel (45 minutes walk along) - inside it is very dark so hard to see the engravings of various animals (entrance = Sphinx x2; 1hr in Pegasus and Elk; 2 hrs in = Owlbear and Fey mammoth; 3hrs = Roc and Ape; 4 hrs in = Roc and Spirit Naga; Exit [5hrs long] = small Dragon and Unicorn).
30minutes from the exit is 30 wide steps up to a stone platform (20mins across - pillars below are 100ft) - path runs under edge of platform - on the platform is a statute of a Dragon Turtle, placed in a circular pool made of water-like mineral stones. There are 10 steps down towards very wide river (10 mins to edge).
RIVER = Rijeka (1 hour to cross)
The wide deep river is home to a male Dragon Turtle Rijeka Ala Kornjača.
ACROSS RIVER A smaller stone platform with statue of a Dragon Turtle on top (10 steps up; 20 steps down - 100ft pillars underneath)
35mins walk to 10 steps up to bridge, 5 steps down on other side.
There stands an old Half-Elf man (the size of a Goliath ) holding The Queen's Duck which is covered in soil.

Herrick of the Gambler's Bane is the only one who can see the spirit-like deer antlers on his head.

Follow path straight into Illusionist's woods - or turn right to go straight past The Grounded Belt (stay within the feywild Expanse) to the town of Efren.
The Illusionist's Woods
ROLL d10The path goes into the woods - on one side of the woods is the sheer cliffs of luminous plants - on the other is the wide river. As reach the point where the path divides the Party set off a trigger a soft voice saying
"Do not interrupt ... to speak of a place through the low hanging willow trees where foxgloves, bluebell, primrose, honeysuckle and forget-me-nots grow. Sloths hang in the cecropia trees. A place like this is not easily found by those who seek out the Tribe. Look instead for the trails of the small animals ... such as red squirrels, hedgehogs, hummingbirds, voles, feathered rabbits and quails. Step lightly now ... everyone knows who is about"
The divided path reconnects - although the right has another divide that leads up a steep slope to The Grounded Belt. Where the paths reconnects (hear sound of a large waterfall) leads along to either Raki Beach and bridge (that joins the 'faster' path) across past the waterfall, or up the steep slope to The Grounded Belt.
