Blackshear Basin
The Blackshear Basin is a geographical region that is typically considered to be the arable area surrounding the Blackshear River. To the north is the Atlandt Hills, to the west is the Apalachicola River, to the east is the Jorgan Badlands, and to the south is the Emerald Coast. The area is typified by the lush vegetation and good land for grazing and farming. There are stands of trees, but often these lands have to be patrolled, as crossings by orc raiding parties from the Badlands are fairly common. The Basin is also known for the ruins of several nations that had existed prior to the formation of the Badlands. These ruins are occasionally discovered in the area and become popular stops for adventurers and archaeologists.
