Lake Murrah

Lake Murrah is a minor lake in the Caro Highlands. It is the source of the Saluda River, which eventually flows into the Savanna River. This lake is well known for its tranquil waters and ample fishing. The lake also acts as a convenient harbor for river barges and ferries from the Savanna, and trade continues with some frequency, typically by barge, rather than any larger sailing ship due to the shallow depths of portions of the lake.
