High River

The High River marks the northern edge of explored and known territory in the lands west of the Apps Mountains. Flowing from a distant source far to the northeast, the High River meanders its way to create a barrier between the Ravager Plains and the barbaric north. Ultimately it is a tributary of the Sypi River, flowing into it far in the west, beyond the Nasvaltkos Crater. There are only a handful of settlements and societies along the river, most of which are reclusive and rarely welcome outsiders. Some marginal river trading takes place, but mostly just upon canoes and rafts.
