Whadi
Description
Whadi is a small but busteling port town of secondary importance. It is regarded as the 'jewl of the sands' being one of the most rich and civilised area of the SavageCoast.
History
It was founded naturally over time for ships who would need repair or re-supply before they could reach the much more important Salt-Town. There are not too many natural resources in this location, but it's not too shallow and unencumbered sea-bed made a great spot to moore.
Over time merchant caravans started to wait in this location for ships to anchor in an effort to beat larger establishments and sell their goods before ships reached their destination.
Captains often decided to bury their deads before reaching SaltTown, to make their ships appear to have a lesser mortality rate and more appealing to travellers. This became a problem over time and the town's solution was to build a seculede area for the deads. Rich pirates were the first to build mausolums, which brought 'fame' to the location. It became custom in the savage coast for powerful lords to build begger and more oppulent resting places, transforming the location into a necropolis.
