Whadi's Casltle District
Description
This disctict houses the most prominent personnalities of Whadi. From religious figureheads to military top officers this is the best place to live in all the town. Opulent houses are well maintained, the streets are clean and even lighted at night. The whole district is well guarded and any vagrant or person that looks out of place it quietly hushed away.
This district has its own private docks used exclusively for its inhabitants and guests of honor.
History
This district originally housed barracks and military in the early days of the settlement. As more prominent figures immigrated, they neede protection and setup camp closeby and often payed the military for extra protection. Over time, more permanent housings were built, ever bigger and better looking, transforming into what is known today. As more and more protection was required, a special detachment of the military became the "district guard". It was often attributed to career military who knew their way around diplomacy and got closer to a 'retirement'. This detachment is generally less risky and pays more.
