Al'taythous

The eastern Free City of Al'taythous in Allatar(location:11d21bea-560e-4c07-afa7-a57e15e16fc4) was once a gateway for trade for caravans coming from @[The Kayhaan Desert, since the calamity, the trade caravans making the journey into the east of the continent has all but dried up. This vacuum lead to the rise of organised crime groups to move in and finding new ways of generating money.

History

Once a relatively busy trading hub which grew out of being the first major settlement on the eastern side of the great desert.
With the outbreak of the Last War, which gradually spread to the east of the continent, the trade started to slow to a crawl.
The criminal enterprise known as the The Azure Eye took advantage of this to set up to take over the city.
Flooding the city with drugs and gambling, it became a beacon for those looking to indulge in the more indecent pastimes. Crime and anti-social behavior is rife, there is little in the way of social support so most people not directly involved with the vice trade have moved away where they can. Those unable to live in constant fear of assualt, robbery and falling into the inescable web of addiction the city runs on.

Tourism

Only those who are looking to indulge in various vices are likely to seek out the city these days.
