Mystic Mob Investigations: Library Pass
Colleague Knight So'Zen Al Saba contacted us through the Palatreum network so we could remotely attend a wedding. During the "Reception" period after the ceremony, he asked if we would be willing to come help him and his team.
Of course.
A friend asks us for help; we will do what we can to get there.
Of course.
Divide up, tackle several problems with short deadlines
Some members of the crew split off to tackle other current problems within the Freedworlds Republic.
One significant problem set welled up from the ongoing lack of two particular High Government Officials within the Freedworlds Republic.
We can reduce that! By applying to this problem the main instigator of another problem!
General Vance Kerplocken -- whose name in extremely private conversations is Damien Vorpadaran -- once again serves to support Chancellor Nalerine Kanter in person.
Stroll through the Athenium Library
Once the Night Sparrow landed and we checked in with our local allies, So'Zen arrived to transport us.
Along the way, So'Zen stops at a correct desk to get us qualified for Library Cards.
Once he leads us through various wings of this station to the correct "door", we step out onto Cestea, purple-skied world in Cestea System.
Which is within the Necron Nebula.
Which is somewhere deep in the Unknown Regions.
I know. I know. The Force does not work like that.
Don't think about it. Don't talk about it. Don't ask. Just keep moving forward.
Starrise Falcon Crisis Collectors
So'Zen's update is a lot of interesting stuff. A few highlights:
- droidekas
- freighters full of surprise reavers are being sent by the Katana Fleet.
- So'Zen is calling upon my "Chaplain" function. He says something happened after Kitkat and I helped get him unstuck from time. He says he needs to tell me about it and it needs to not be spread around.
Cap'n Kolene briefly introduces our three crises:
- Katana fleet,
- centaur fighters,
- and persona non-grata inside the orb
Not to worry: I have the start of a plan, with ideas on which people are best suited to take custody on each component Crisis.

Gith Parn is a researcher whose wife Thera is among the hostages. Danar and I are interviewing him so I can try to find her. We get him infodumping about how she infodumps to him; the Force leads me by imagery flash to the side of a ziggurat. In its shadow is a huge set of doors. They are completely midnight black.
For a moment, I can see stars in the door.
I feel drawn to a specific section of the right door. I see a series of glittering stars.
I feel drawn to a small outpost to the right of the doors. It looks like more modern-day construciton. it's right up against an airlock tunnel that goes into the zig itself.
The research station does not look inhabited -- sand has blown up on it, lights are very dim. A landspeeder could use a lot of repair.
Through the dark windows of the structure, i see the occasional glow of light or power for machinery, almost like a dim heartbeat.
All of this is northeast of my current position.
Heath could possibly adjust weather sensors or something to detect deep sleep capsules.
We are going to that area with an expectation of multiple people in deep sleep pods or something. And hostile "guards".
Captain Kolene has two large canisters of Clocktaur-Gunker stuff. We'll bring those out and be ready to use.
Ah, I see that during his stealth track across the Cestean wilderness, So'Zen started a migration parade with about 20 to 50 robotic reptile-geese-things.
Inside the base, So'Zen reports that he has found robotic beetles and robotic flowers.

I am really regretting this lack right now.
How's the CrapCam vid from my datapad? Can you make anything out?

Awakeen geese?
Maybe?
They honk. They hiss. They get upset about me having a lightsaber lit up when they were happily running after him.
Haven't combat-poo'ed at me yet.
The geese on Esseles would have combat-poo'ed at me by now.
I'm perfectly happy with that not happening.

Well, ok.
He's keeping one, isn't he?

Only keeping one would be wrong. They obviously live in clusters.
I think he's keeping a cluster.
a cluster is part of a collective?
I think it's short for 'clusterfrak'.
