I have Welcoming Committee Duty at the door. So'Zen has Decanting Duty.

The first batch he woke up are half Cesteans like Khatari, half mechanics not unlike Trandoshans.

The security sweep should be coming in to this doorway at any moment. Glad So'Zen is making friends.

Those five combat mechanics look forward to helping out with door defense. Two on one side of the doorframe, three on the other.

I hear the opposition at the hallway keypad.
 

 
The first attack round startles the opposition. We damage at least one of their weapons (that entered the room) and some of the individuals.

They then retreat down the hall to partial cover, where they rethink their strategy.

Allowing our door to close, we redeploy and wait.

 
The second attack round uses the two-by-two-by-two technique, since the opposition currently number six.

We destroy or remove half of their blaster spike-whatever weapons. They also take additional personal damage.

The more functional three grab the less functional three, dragging them back down the hall in retreat. Our door closes. The Elkari celebrate.

 
I expect the next opposition strategy to be explosives or gas canisters.

So'Zen tells me that we need to go to the "Battle Bridge". Pretty sure that's where Cap'n Kolene went.
