Blair
Blair looked at the gathered family, and staff. Stonehill Hold wasn’t far from her own newly acquired estate, but she looked at Stonehill Hold in awe. It was more a city, than an estate, or an estate surrounded by a city carved in the rocks. Most of the city were abandoned, and many of the rock structures were a ruin covered in moss, but that gave it a rather beautiful charm.
Lord Peder Frost, System-lord of Isca was unmistakable. His wife stood next to him, and on her side stood her children.
“Greeting Lord King,” the System-lord said with a respectful bow, and clenched fist in the Furse fashion.
“Lord Frost,” King Oswald said with a smile, but his tone were not as warm as Blair was use to hearing.
“May I present my wife, Edith,” Lord Frost said with a gesture.
King Oswald took the slender womans hand, and kissed it. “My lady, it good to see you again.”
“Thank you,” Edith said with small smile. “It is good to see you again, and I am happy to welcome to our home. I hope you will find Isca to your liking.”
King Oswald released Edith’s hand, and gestured to his own wife. “May I present my wife, Queen Blair,” he said.
“Welcome my Queen,” Lord Frost said with another bow, followed by Edith.
“Thank you, both of you,” Blair said with a blush. She had read about the wife of the System-lord, a princess of Fist, and it’s current king’s sister. “It is a pleasure, I have read so much about the two of you,” she continued. “Your time as warriors in the Void of Eriu must have been exciting.”
Lord Frost smiled, and his wife chuckled. “One could say that,” Lord Frost finally managed.
“And who are these darlings?” Blair asked as she looked at the four children.
“Our children,” Lord Frost said. “Harald, Lin, Garth, and Abbey,” he continued.
“I look forward to getting to know you all during the feast, and days to come,” Blair said with a smile.
Lord Frost tilted his head, and looked at the king. “Did your children not attend you Lord King?” he asked respectfully.
“No,” King Oswald said sharply, before he cleared his throat. “They had their studies that I did not wish to take them from on Bastion.”
Lord Frost nodded. “Schooling, and education is an important factor,” he agreed. “It is our main duty to teach our offspring the lessons of life.” He bowed his head again.
“Yes,” King Oswald said. “At any rate, I look forward to the feasts. It has been some time seen we have seen one another, and I look forward to chatting with you in private on the matter of the System, the Sector of a whole as a matter of fact. The reports from Isca are above anything you had promised, but we have been stuck on ship for too long. It will be good to have a fresh meal, and stretch our legs.”
“Of course Lord King,” System-lord Frost said, and gestured him to join him further into the estate.
