Chandra

Chandra is clever rogue, the fugitive wife of Rashad, and a member of the party.
Little is known of the beautiful half-elf's life before she was brought to the palace of Zahar and made one of the usurper sultan's many wives. During her unpleasant marriage, she witnessed her unpredictable husband's wild debaucheries, but also his displays of religious austerity, especially around Akivasha and other members of the Cult of Horak, the newly recognized royal religion.

Unable to bear captivity any longer, Chandra staged a daring escape from the palace on the night of one of Rashad's many revels. Nearly caught by one of the patroling lions of the palace janissaries, she was aided by Bohl, a traveling entertainer performing at the party. The two fled into the slums of outer Zahar and soon connected with the veteran Matthias and the wizard Xandu.

In an effort to strike out against the their mutual enemy, the party went on an adventure to retreive and destroy Nephotep's Codex, a blasmphemous tome much desired by the disciples of Horak. Aided by Djoser Senukhef, Tariq ibn-Faraz, and Dalia ben-Salad, the party succeeded, but had to flee the city on camelback.

Three day's journey brought them to the caravan of the Waziri Clan, where Chandra met the young Saka, secret half-genie son of the late prince Kumar and possible heir to the throne. To advance Saka's claim, and to reuinite him with his genie mother, Chandra and the party seized the airship The Evening Breeze from the dragon Izmytix. After securing passage across the Smoldering Divide from Armistice, they sailed for the City of Brass.
