Report an Issue
wow that's a lot of stars Bug Report Tool
This theme was developed on Chrome and Firefox for Windows, tested on Chrome and Firefox for Android, and occasionally checked on Safari for iOS when I remember to borrow my husband's iPhone. I can't promise everything will work the same everywhere or that it will be comfortably readable to every person, but with your help, I can get closer to being able to do so.
If you encounter issues while browsing, from broken links to unreadable text to accessibility issues, please leave a comment here and include:
Thank you for taking the time to report the problem! I'll be in touch when it's fixed or if I need more input.- Description of the problem

Known Issues
Ecosia and outdated Safari (pre-v18) might not render colors correctly or at all. These browsers don't support the method I'm using to define my colors. If you keep your browser up to date, they'll likely add support sooner than I'll be able to rework my theme to use backup colors.
Scroll-based animations won't run on Firefox, Safari, and other browsers that lack support. I have backup code in place to make sure content is still available even with animations disabled/unsupported.
(Unable to replicate) Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile don't render significant portions of theme CSS.

Fixed Issues
Article titles didn't show on Firefox and Safari. This was due to the lack of support for scroll animations. Backup code was put in place to make sure everything displays correctly regardless of animation status.
Prose was difficult to read due to the text and background colors. Softened both colors to be more accessible.
'Like' counter was in the wrong place on mobile/small screens. Small screens now stick with the default inline version of the counter. The more creatively-placed version only plays nice on large screens.

Just wanted to let you know that the color scheme is not working with Safari. Everything is a dark grey. And some of the colors of your containers also don't show. I don't know, how to send you a screenshot of it though.
Hmmm. Safari version 18 and up (released in September) should support the colors I'm using. I've tested on iOS Safari from my husband's iPhone and everything displays correctly there. macOS Safari should be the same, though I can't officially test that. Is it possible you're using an older version of Safari?
Speculative-Fiction Writing
on iOS it works fine. Just not on my Macbook but that is 17.6 so maybe that's the problem ... I will try to make an update and let you know.
