Teacher's Guide

This quiz has existed almost as long as MES has, with its popularity coming and going over the years. It's often most popular in schools with a low psionic population, where stereotypes flourish.
Though there is some connection between one's personality and one's psionic talents, there is far more nuance to the topic than school-aged children are generally receptive to.
Quizes like this can help children explore their growing identity and imagine themselves in different futures. However, it can also form the basis for harmful social cliques and lead to peer pressure and bullying.
Children should be encouraged to question who they are, as long as they're also encouraged to seek the truth behind the stereotype, and be inclusive of others from all different walks of life.
