Agennum us a barony located in the southwest area of the Duchy of Fairden, and is part of the Kingdom of North Cassel. It is bordered on the west by the Mountains of Cil. To the South is the Gilded Peaks and the Valley of Kings with the baronies of Sacellum, Reina, and Roy. To the east are the baronies of Berga and Marsan and to the north is Canillo.

Except for small areas near the Sombre River to the east, most of the province has a continental climate. Due to the shapes of the mountains, this area is one of the driest in North Cassel and there are stretches of years where the climate is more semiarid than continental. There are some valleys with a subarctic climate and tall plateaus that are icy tundras. Alcorza Mountain is located on the southern edge on the border with Sacellum. At 6536 meters tall, it is the second tallest peak in Cassel behind Mount Rakkos in Gwerra.

Except in the west near the mountains, most of the land is treeless, and is covered by farms. Grains such as wheat and barley are grown here. apples, figs, and almonds are also grown here to a less extent. There are also some cattle farms. The primary product that comes out of Agennum comes from the secluded mountain valleys. There are large amounts of marble and quartz found here. The marble is of a black variety and the quartz is usually of the Amethyst variety, which are useful as Aethercite.
