Dwarven Generals Active Years

Each of the Dwarven Squads, which make up their military, are led by Dwarven Generals. These are the most elite soldiers, commanders, mages, and tacticians in all of Dwarven Territory. These people hold their title sometimes for centuries, while others are not so lucky. The title is then passed down to their successor candidates.
Below, one can find a record which shall continue to update as more Generals are appointed to their positions upon the death or retirement of others. Those who die the same year their service ended died in the position. Those that died later either retired or were moved to a different squad or position, in some cases becoming King of the Dwarves or Thane of a city.

Red Dragons

The Red Dragons are the squad that protect the southern border of Dwarven Territory, particularly from the Draconians. They are headquartered in Ebreichzell and are most often pitted against the forces of Bortan, a militaristic Draconian settlement. For this, they are also incredibly militaristic.

Blue Devils

Founded to regulate the caves of Dwarven Territory, where Dark Elves, Deep Gnomes, and Goblins reside (such as Votarra Den), the Blue Devils are often considered the weakest squad simply because they deal with internal issues and thus have less need to be as powerful and active.

Green Ghosts

One of the most beloved squads of Dwarves, the Green Ghosts hold a special purpose, and for this they have a large force of eager soldiers. The Green Ghosts guard the eastern border of Dwarven Territory, on the edge of the Elven Forest. Due to this, they deal most with Elves and are the first to lead the charge of any battles or invasions against the sworn enemy of the Dwarves.

The White Wolves are a squad that guard the northern part of Dwarven Territory, a mountainous region that borders the Kingdom of Man. Most soldiers are also sworn priests to the Temple of Hadur, and their headquarters then is the very Temple of that God, which is nestled in those Northern Mountains.

Violet Vipers

The Violet Vipers guard the western border of Dwarven Territory from the Humans, Halflings, Beasts, and any other threats that could come. Due to this region being fairly peaceful, they have grown rich, fat, lazy, and complicit, and spend more time enjoying luxury than actually fighting. Still, they are a learned group with a once-noble purpose. Due to their wealth, prominence, and abundance of time, they have produced many Kings from their ranks.

The Silver Angels are the police force of Dwarven Territory, particularly in the capital city of Ironforge. They were founded initially so that General Adkum of the Green Ghosts could retire from fighting Elves, but he was called back into service during the War of the Beards.

Golden Automatons

When one thinks of a Dwarven Squad, they think of the Golden Automatons, blacksmiths who rarely see the field of battle. Dwarves are considered to create the best weapons, and for this the Golden Automatons are famed by all and hated by most. Without them, the Dwarven Army would likely fall apart.

The Yellow Hornets are a squad of secretive assassins. Not much is known of them, but they are feared by all precisely for that very reason. A Yellow Hornet assassin could sneak up on anyone and kill them, and so one who has made an enemy of the Dwarves must always keep an eye out.

A squad of mages, looked down on by the Dwarven people, they are incredibly powerful. Most Generals have studied at the Magic College in Zephys and carry the knowledge of magic that they can teach to others. A squad of genetically enhanced super soldiers, the Black Boars are a military secret created by the Orange Phoenixes. The Black Boars Project began in the year 9 to combat Gellark Lionrage, but was not officially unveiled to the public until 449. Then, they were hidden away until the end of the Dwarven Civil War in 550.
