Tartarus
Tartarus is the unofficial name for the favella just east of Aeolus City Space Port. The official name is Daffodil Meadow, which is what it says on the official maps of the city, but if you use that name when talking to an inhabitant of Aeolus they won’t know what you’re talking about.
Tartarus is two hundred stories of unregulated building of tenements on top of tenements. It’s ruled by street gangs, and organized crime. It’s the most densely populated place in the Coalition, possibly in the entire galaxy.
Government
Ruled by organized crime syndicate.
Defences
They are defended by the fact that nobody but those who live in Tartarus dares to enter the neighborhood, unless they’re suicidal.
Infrastructure
They jack plumbing, water, electricity into the next building without checking if it’s okay. Any street lights, stairs, apartment doors are often stolen from other parts of the city. Everyone gets their furniture through dumpster diving.
Architecture
A mishmash of architectural styles. It looks like Kowloon Walled City on steroids, with a dash of acid.
