Jarilas (Jah-RILL-ahs)
Jarilas is a small fishing village on the eastern shore of the Tycephaur Lake; although the entirety of the lake is technically Kivan territory and Jarilas itself sits on the edge of the Unenshuut border, for much of its history it has managed to live peacefully off the lake and indeed, has been no stranger to Kivan traders as well as Unen ones. It is around a day and a half's good ride from Keismeb to the east.
Demographics
Primarily nae'cthosai, and of lower wealth.
Government
Although technically subject to the Keeping of Keismeb, its daily governance is conducted by the village head.
Industry & Trade
They hold a small export industry based on fishing from the Tycephaur Lake. They have gained a small amount of local reputation for a fish paste they produce, fish paste in general being a common component of Unenshuut cooking generally.
Imports are also typically small, and include cattle from Kiva and other necessities but not luxuries.
History
Shortly after their annual Fertility Festival in the Season of Ripening, 955AC, it was attacked by Jiermeb raiders and practically destroyed. Most of the survivors moved elsewhere as refugees, but the village itself was repopulated a few years later and the fishing trade in the area resumed.
