Sta'ancoulo Bridge (Stah-ahn-KOOL-oh)

The Sta'ancoulo Bridge is an old, arched bridge on the western side of Keismeb that crosses the main artery of the Tubisqu River and the capital's dirt levee; it is one of only two access points to the city outside of the very southernmost approach. It was built not long after the original settlement's founding by its then-leader.   It is also occasionally called the West Bridge by Keismeba, and (more popularly) the Dowry Bridge. The Dowry Bridge moniker refers to its stone, vuclite, which was shipped in copious amounts from the far eastern reaches of Balaqalneyis (its sole origin) as a wedding gift from the settlement's leader to his new bride, who had professed that she should have as pleasant a journey as possible between her new home and her family home on the opposite shore whenever she desired.
