Grand Army of the Homeworld

Structure

The Grand Army maxes out the requirements for a Grand Army according to the organization of a Planetary Defense Force in living members. They maintain these numbers with remarkable ease, as Earth's population is large enough to support two or three Grand Armies. Even though they could field more living troopers, they instead hold a contract clause over their members; you serve twenty years, living or dead. Those who expire before the end of their careers are resurrected as Necroids and outfitted with cybernetics and bioronics to turn them into combat and law enforcement machines. At any given time, there is at least a Brigade worth of Necroid troopers, each with a technician who sees to the resurrected trooper's maintenance and needs but generally stays out of direct combat. Each Grand Army also has an Army worth of armored robots with law enforcement Synthetic Intelligence.

Culture

The GAH is a police force first and a military second. They instill near fanatical levels of dedication to the rule of law in training, and criminal activity by troopers tends to be handled 'in house,' which for the most egregious infractions involves a disappearance and a John Doe. Bribery is especially loathed, as a bribed trooper could turn on his fellows in their most vulnerable moment. Other than that, GAH troopers live by the motto "Protect, Serve, Avenge" in that order.

Public Agenda

GAH protects the citizens and civilians of Earth both from outside threats and from each other.

Assets

The GAH is well funded and as a consequence has plenty of battlesuits, cataphracts, hovercraft, robots, necroids, and even a few grav tanks waiting for a particularly awful day.
